This upcycled, wooden brick mould clock has a rustic, aged beauty. It can rest on a flat surface such as a table or shelf, or can be wall mounted using the fitted rear hook. And, it’s not just one clock, it’s two – one with Arabic numerals and one with Roman. The clocks both have convex lenses set in black metal bezels. Each clock functions separately and so can be set to show whatever time combination suits you. The new, vintage-look clock dials front quiet, AA battery powered, quartz time mechanisms.
No two of these brick mould dual clocks will be exactly the same. Built from kikar (or keekar) and teak woods, each traditional, handmade brick mould has its own unique colouring and characteristics. These are inherent in the wood used, the craftsman’s marks and tools, and as the result of use to shape clay bricks. They have then been salvaged, cleaned and transformed by hand into these distinctive and unique timepieces.
